Avinash Manekar a young Painter hailing from Vidarbha qualified as G. D. Arts (in fine art) from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya at Pune - and settles in Nasik – on the pleasant & naturally rich banks gifted by Holy Godavari River. He thinks without creation we are nothing. We innovate therefore we are!
With the help of varied mediums such as pencil, charcoal, oil pestles, water colors, oil colors & acrylic he developed his own style. Not contented with reducing two dimensional art through depictions of nature, persons, creative art on paper & print making & also attracted to sculpture he hard worked to produce the three dimensional artistic works.
His figurative paintings depict individuals and groups caught in the web of relationship. Avinash loves to portray his characters in bright colors. It’s his way of signifying his thoughts. A thick white line circles the figurative images in the paintings all the mini images circled in a zig-zag manner. There is movement there. We can clearly see the body language. He scrupulously avoids details on faces as it helps train focus on the emotions and stress of the individual. Some have been creatively amputated to express their desires. Avinash plays with contrasts to explore the various realms of reality.
