About Me

My Paintings are a reflection of my innermost feelings and things that Occur to me. Fairy – a female figure, sealed eyes, sealed lips, faces, doorways, Monoliths, cars, the scorpion are manifestations of the related Encounters in my journey. In the past years auto-rickshaws, entrances, stones, eyes denote my inner being. But stepping – in of a fairy in my life brought a change in my stream of thought. The pure bliss, the fairy endowed upon me, opened up the sealed lips and sealed eyes. Hence the Earlier melancholy in my creations faded. My canvas was filled by a world that is full of dreams and tender touch. More brighter hues entered my dreams. The image of the fairy in my paintings depicts the blend of traditional Indian woman and the modern femina who has more potential than her male counterpart. She is timid and lovely though her conviction is noticeable in my paintings. The white on my canvas has the expanse of the sky which shields me from the worldly sufferings. The fairy bestowed upon me this unceasing shelter. Rickshaws, cars show the motion of my spirit. The scorpion is my symbol and the scorpion-king is the master of my wonderland. I want to imbibe the very character of scorpion inside me. The scorpion has a lot of endurance, but shows retaliation on the verge of tolerance. And I admire the strength and flexibility within it. One can explore into the world of my imagination and can recognize his/her own fantasies.
